70 Conversations - AMSI opportunity Invitation to participateWe're inviting a small group AMSI students to participate in 70 Conversations, a creative project which celebrates people coming together to share their stories and make a difference in their communities. You'll participate in a series of creative workshops led by artist Mai Omer to plan a party, inspired by public gatherings and protests to strengthen communities, make change, and celebrate Jubilees. In the workshops, you'll experiment with in filmmaking and photography and learn skills in research and planning. You'll think about what changes you'd like to see in Islington. You'll also connect and collaborate with a group of Islington residents who are over 55 to plan the party and make a podcast. The project is organised by Cubitt Artists, who have artist studios at AMSI, and The Liliesleaf Trust UK, a local Anti-Apartheid heritage organisation.
