Make friends, develop your art practice and experience your creative future with Cubitt’s Institute of Anything. Spend two weeks developing your art and ideas with artist film-maker Beverley BennettCentral St Martin’s art college tutors Levi Naidu-Mitchell and Shepherd Manyika, plus other special guests. This project will be hosted by Lift Youth Hub, round the corner from Cubitt.

Together, you’ll explore how filmmaking, research, drawing and curating can be tools to tell our own stories, and stories hidden in the city.

We’ll find out about Islington’s anti-apartheid legacy, imagine our creative futures with Central St Martin's, and visit the Serpentine Pavilion in Hyde Park. You'll also work towards an Arts Award Bronze - an accredited qualification in the arts - and an informal sharing for friends and family.

Institute of Anything is Cubitt's programme for 13-19 year olds. Young people work alongside contemporary artists, develop skills and make friends. It’s called Institute of Anything because anything is possible.
