Workshops were led by artists, historians and choreographers and explored William Blake’s visionary text and images.

  • Artist Darren Marshall led a workshop looking at the figure in Blake’s work, using watercolours and inks to recreate Blake’s techniques and develop new experimental forms.
  • Choreographer Simona Scotto looked in particular at emotional and figurative themes within Blake through dance and choreography.
  • A workshop with sound and installation artist Rosanna Greaves used Blake’s words to inspire new texts and soundworks.
