[Postponed] Creative Resilience & Philosophy for Children: Teachers' Workshop

Led by artist Sara Heywood and Philosophy for Children (P4C) facilitator Harriet Goodman, this teachers' workshop will explore how to facilitate a safe space where children can take creative risks and grow their resilience.  

Sara will lead you through experimental mark making and large-scale 3D activities designed to challenge perfectionism and raise confidence. With Harriet, you'll explore how to use the 4Cs (caring, collaborative, creative and critical) and other P4C techniques to support children to reflect on their artwork and their emotional response to struggle.

P4C is a participant-centred approach to learning and teaching which nurtures dialogue, collaboration and higher order thinking.
