70 Conversations Join us for Not a Tea Party, a gathering hosted by a group of Islington community members and AMSI students with artists Lucy Steggals and Mai Omer as part of 70 Conversations. 70 Conversations celebrates people coming together to share their stories and make a difference in their communities. Cubitt are working with local Anti-Apartheid heritage organisation, The Liliesleaf Trust UK, and Arts and Media School Islington (AMSI) for this project. With Lucy Steggals and Mai Omer Islington community members and AMSI students have looked into tradition of public gatherings to strengthen communities and make change. The groups have been exploring telling and sharing stories. Not a Tea Party will be the culmination of 70 Conversations, along with a podcast that will be released in July.
